Do you ever discover a hidden treasure that was right under your nose? I’ve lived in my hometown most of my life. On one major corner you’ll find MacRae’s Indian Books. It’s been there since before I was born.

Thanks to LitFuse, Tricia Goyer and Mike Yorkey, I recently missed out on a lot of sleep. The new book, The Swiss Courier, kept me up at night. I seriously couldn’t wait to get my girls in bed then hop into bed myself to get reading. I LOVE books that I think about all day and can’t wait to read that night.

This book has been inspirational. It has made me yearn for the O2 I know I need and I’m taking baby steps to get breathing again.

As I continued to read I noticed a thread running through each story. Tricia turned her life to God. Not once, not twice but every day and in every situation. Blue Like Playdough really encouraged me to set aside at least a few minutes with God every day.

I highly recommend this book. Take your time to read it, study it, grab your Bible to confirm it, and meditate on it. This isn’t a beach read to zip though. However, if you take the time on this book, I can nearly guarantee you will be changed. You will come to know God and your Bible better.

I HATE one thing about this book…that it ended. Have you ever felt like that? When I finished Nothing But Trouble, I seriously looked behind the back cover to see if there was more.

If you are more like me, still trying to get a handle on it, this book Making Work at Home Work will be a dog-eared resource you’ll turn to often.
